    In this role, the Defense Sales Representative will lead high-level business development and direct sales efforts with military and defense customers. Success means growing a healthy pipeline across 1-, 3-, and 5-year timeframes, developing enterprise-level territory plans, and securing contracts that align with customer requirements and strategic goals. The role spans capture strategy, proposal development, partner management, and CRM reporting - making it ideal for a seasoned sales professional who thrives in high-ownership environments.

    Veterans with experience in acquisition, defense sales, or program management (e.g., MOS 51C, 25A, 35D, or Navy/USMC equivalents in communications or intelligence) will be well-aligned with the mission-critical nature of this role. Prior military service is a requirement, but more important is a proven ability to understand defense customer needs, influence procurement pathways, and shape opportunities before the RFP stage.

    This is a hybrid position based in West Henrietta, NY, with up to 20% domestic travel, they will also consider candidates for a fully remote role with the same travel expectancy. You'll use modern sales tools including Zoho CRM, virtual platforms like LinkedIn, and internal collaboration tools to drive engagement. Expect regular coordination with sales, product, and technical teams, with strong emphasis on accurate pipeline reporting and cross-functional alignment.
