Summary
Lead work of security officers assigned to the shift. Train officers as to general and shift-specific responsibilities. Respond to reports of emergency, unusual, and/or unsafe situations. Evaluate, determine, and implement appropriate actions to be taken, and advise key personnel as appropriate. Issue employee parking hangtags and maintain computer log of parking program. Issue security proximity access cards/badges and maintain computer control system. Review, compile, report, and maintain security officer paperwork. Maintain inventory of security equipment and supplies. Assist with planning and execution of Smith & Nephew events. Coordinate access to buildings, advising people and traffic to accurate location. Institute standard safety precautions. Assist in identifying the best methodologies for securing Smith & Nephews property.
