    Orthopedic Hand Surgery Opportunity in Ashland, KYA leading regional healthcare system serving eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Hand Surgery to join a well-established and high-volume orthopedic team. This is a full-time employed opportunity offering exceptional compensation, advanced facilities, and strong referral support.Practice DetailsFull-time employed Orthopedic Hand Surgery position Join an established orthopedic surgery group Shared call with 6 orthopedic surgeons High-volume practice with strong regional demand Access to newly expanded facilities including ER and imaging department EPIC EMR system Clinical ResponsibilitiesPerform a full range of hand and upper extremity surgical procedures Evaluate and manage orthopedic conditions related to the hand and upper extremity Provide both inpatient and outpatient care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including PM&R and other specialists Maintain accurate documentation and patient care plans Support & ResourcesReferral network from 40+ primary care clinics and multiple regional hospitals Service area of approximately 750,000 patients Access to advanced imaging and surgical technology Strong APP and clinical support teams Compensation & Benefits$750,000 salary guarantee plus wRVU and quality incentives Signing bonus Student loan repayment assistance Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Paid malpractice coverage Retirement plan options Six weeks PTO plus additional CME time and $5,000 allowance RequirementsMD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship training in Hand Surgery Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure Strong surgical and clinical skills Visa sponsorship negotiable Community Highlights - Ashland, KentuckySafe, family-friendly community with low cost of living Located along the Ohio River with scenic surroundings Access to outdoor recreation including hiking, fishing, boating, skiing, and golf Proximity to state and national parks Convenient drive to Cincinnati, Columbus, Lexington, and Louisville Strong schools and welcoming community atmosphere
