Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) role in a combined family practice and urgent care setting
Full-service clinic with chronic disease management, urgent care, in-house lab draw, pharmacy, weight loss and wellness programs
Role focused on high-quality, patient-centered care for all ages
Conduct wellness visits and preventive health screenings
Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol
Provide patient education on lifestyle modification and disease prevention
Conduct both in-person and telemedicine visits
Assess and treat non-life-threatening urgent conditions (e.g., respiratory infections, minor injuries, sprains/strains, burns)
Perform point-of-care testing and interpret labs and imaging in collaboration with supervising physicians
Provide wound care, laceration repair, and other minor procedures as trained and credentialed
Work with support staff to maintain efficient visit flow
Maintain timely and accurate electronic medical records
Follow clinic policies, state regulations, and billing and documentation standards
Participate in quality improvement efforts
Current NP or PA license in the state of Texas
National certification (AANP or ANCC for NPs; NCCPA for PAs)
Minimum one year of experience in family medicine or urgent care
BLS required; ACLS or other advanced certifications preferred
Comfortable managing patients from pediatrics through geriatrics (preferred)
Experience using Athena EMR (preferred)
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends (preferred)
Full-time position with extremely competitive salary
