About the Opportunity

We are actively seeking a motivated and experienced Urologist to join our team on a locum tenens basis. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality urologic care to patients in a friendly and efficient clinic environment.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of urologic conditions in adult patients.
• Perform essential in-office procedures, including prostate biopsies, cystoscopies, and prostate ultrasounds.
• Manage patient care plans for a variety of urologic conditions.
• Provide follow-up care and patient education.
• Communicate clearly and collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Document medical records accurately and thoroughly in the Cerner electronic medical record system.

Who You Are

• Board certified in Urology (BC/U).
• Active North Carolina medical license and DEA number are mandatory.
• Experience in providing general urologic care in a clinic setting is preferred.
• You possess strong clinical skills and experience managing a diverse range of urologic conditions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are essential for effective patient interaction.
• The ability to work independently while also being a team player is a must.
• A commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for making a positive impact on patient outcomes are highly valued.

Schedule

• Locum tenens position (ASAP - Ongoing)
• Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with last patient seen by 4:00 PM)
• Lunch break: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
• Average daily patient volume: 20 patients
