    Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX. This is a stable, well-compensated onsite position in a high-volume, state-of-the-art clinical environment where you'll work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team performing a comprehensive scope of IR procedures.If you're an experienced IR physician looking for long-term placement, consistent hours, and strong support, this is worth a look.ResponsibilitiesPerform the full spectrum of Interventional Radiology procedures including vascular access, image-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, embolization, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis, and nephrostomy/biliary interventionsProvide consultations to referring physicians on appropriate IR indications; manage post-procedure follow-up and complication careReview consults, orders, and next-day cases daily (minimum two hours)Participate in monthly PI/QA meetings, Tumor Board, and IR Lecture SeriesConduct peer reviews (approximately two hours per month) and contribute to patient safety reportingDocument all care accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic health record systemProvide on-call availability for phone consultations and call-back coverage as neededQualificationsBoard Certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Interventional RadiologyCurrent, full, and unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state, territory, or commonwealth)Current DEA certificateACLS and BLS certification (renewed every two years)Proficiency across a broad range of IR proceduresStrong communication skills; fluent in English (spoken and written)Team-oriented with a commitment to high-quality patient careScheduleFull-Time Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM CTOn-call coverage required evenings, weekends, and holidaysWeekend call: Friday 4:00 PM Monday 7:00 AMPhone response within 15 minutes; on-site call-back within 60 minutesBenefitsHighly competitive compensationHousing stipend options (negotiable)Travel and relocation considerationsComprehensive credentialing and onboarding supportLong-term contract stability base year plus four option yearsWhy Join Vigilant Healthcare Solutions?
