    Locums, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Child Psychiatrist for a long-term contract placement with the Dallas, TX school district. Texas state Psychiatry license and Board certification needed. About the Opportunity:- Period of Performance is approx. 6/1/20 to 4/30/25 - Annual Salary increases - Patients are to be seen at the Dallas Youth and Family Centers (YFC) across the metro Dallas area- Hours will be approx. 6 per week scheduling to be negotiated with YFC- Patients are primarily intellectually and developmentally challenged adolescents and adults- Psychiatrist duties to include evaluation, re-evaluations, follow-up visits, medication management, service referrals, and consultation with childs family and YFC and treatment for full range of Psychiatric disorders. Will be responsible for prescribing medications and completing appropriate paperwork- Paid Malpractice insuranceRequirements:- Active and unrestricted Texas state license - APBN Board Certified in Child Psychiatry- Has completed an ABMS-approved residency in General Psychiatry and child/adolescent Psychiatry- Active DEA registration
