    Internal Medicine Physician Permly Positioned in Pueblo, Colorado Join a Leading Healthcare System in a Family-Focused Community UCHealth Medical Group is seeking a qualified, full-time Internal Medicine physician to become a vital part of our Primary Care team in Pueblo, Colorado. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide high-quality care within a supportive, collaborative environment, balancing professional fulfillment with an enriching lifestyle in the scenic Southern Colorado region. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive primary care to an established panel of adult patients in a well-supported setting. Expect approximately 36 patient-facing hours per week, with flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team, including clinical Medical Assistants (MAs), to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. Employ a care-team model to optimize patient management and efficiency. Assist in rapid patient empanelment, supported by clinical MAs managing in-basket tasks. Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care in a community known for its family-oriented environment. Maintain regional phone-only call responsibilities with minimal weekend coverage, reducing on-call burdens. Access specialist consultations and resources across the UCHealth network to support clinical decision-making. Work alongside a diverse team of nearly 1,900 physicians dedicated to excellence in healthcare delivery. Qualifications: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (clinical residency must be completed for eligibility). Candidates completing residency are welcome to apply, provided they are truly Board Eligible. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. No locum or locum-to-perm candidates are considered. Compensation & Benefits: Salary: Competitive annual salary ranging from $287,000 to $319,000. Bonuses: Potential for quality and/or productivity-based bonuses. Relocation: Relocation assistance may be provided to eligible candidates. Insurance: Paid malpractice insurance, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans. CME: Generous allowance to support ongoing professional development. Retirement: 403(b) plan with employer match and optional 457(b) plan.
