Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough preoperative assessments, including reviewing patient medical histories, evaluating risk factors, and formulating individualized anesthesia strategies. Develop and implement tailored anesthesia care plans in partnership with anesthesiologists and surgical teams. Administer anesthesia safely during diverse procedures, maintaining patient safety, stability, and comfort. Monitor patients intraoperatively, managing vital signs, anesthesia depth, and responding promptly to any changes or emergencies. Oversee post-anesthesia recovery, including pain management and immediate postoperative care, ensuring smooth patient transitions. Participate in a rotating schedule comprising day shifts, on-call duties, and weekends, with the flexibility to travel across multiple locations within the health system as needed. Document all procedures accurately and promptly in the EPIC electronic medical record system, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory standards. Support staffing needs during periods of increased demand and ensure compliance with credentialing, safety, and quality assurance protocols. Maintain up-to-date certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and state licensure, and engage in continued professional development. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to uphold high standards of patient care. Qualifications and Requirements: Active CRNA certification with current licensure in Michigan. A minimum of several years of anesthesia experience (new graduates are not considered). Proficiency with EPIC EMR and anesthesia equipment. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NBCRNA. Candidates must be eligible for H1B or J1 Visa sponsorship. Not suitable for candidates with lapsed certifications or those seeking multiple jobs or long commutes. Prior experience in an inpatient or outpatient anesthesia setting preferred. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary expectations may be discussed during the interview process. Sign-on bonus of $40,000.
