A comprehensive, integrated health care system in Connecticut is adding Infectious Disease Physicians in our western Connecticut location. We are Connecticut's largest health system with 4,000 providers and a network of 7 hospitals with more than 300 office locations. About the Opportunity: 100% Infectious Disease. No primary care System-wide collaboration with over 20 Infectious Disease Physicians Shared call with other ID physicians Inpatient consultations and outpatient office, including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment Assist with the Antimicrobial Stewardship program and with activities of infection control and the hospital epidemiology programs Appointment at the Assistant Professor level for post-graduate medical education for residents as well as medical students Compensation/Benefits: Robust salary with signing bonus Loan repayment-PSLF qualified employer Low-cost, high-quality medical benefits 401(k) retirement with a substantial employer match Community/Location: Located in western Connecticut, 30 miles from Hartford and 2 hours from New York City The state hasexcellent educationalinstitutions, from top-ranked public schools to prestigious universities, and boasts astrong job market, particularly in finance, healthcare, and technology.
