  • Summary

Rula Health is seeking a Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to individuals, couples, and families through secure telehealth services. As part of the Healthcare & Medical Services team, you will play a key role in supporting clients experiencing relational, emotional, and behavioral challenges, helping them build healthier communication patterns, strengthen family systems, and improve overall mental health and well-being.

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing psychotherapy using modalities such as CBT, EFT, structural, and solution-focused family therapy. You will maintain a manageable, primarily remote caseload, meeting clients virtually from a professional home office environment. You will be responsible for accurate, timely documentation in our electronic health record system, including intake evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, all in compliance with clinical, legal, and ethical standards.

Collaboration is central to this position. You will coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other behavioral health professionals as appropriate, ensuring an integrated approach to client care. You will conduct risk assessments, provide crisis intervention and safety planning when needed, and make appropriate referrals to higher levels of care or community resources. You will be expected to uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA, state licensure, and professional board guidelines at all times.

Although this is a clinical role, you will benefit from the innovative, technology-forward environment fostered by Rula Technologies. Our platforms are designed to make digital interfaces intuitive and efficient, streamlining scheduling, documentation, and communication so you can focus more fully on client care. You will have access to ongoing training in telehealth best practices and digital tools that enhance the therapy experience for both clinicians and clients.

Rula Health promotes a dynamic and inclusive culture that values creativity, teamwork, and continuous learning. As a Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will participate in virtual team meetings, optional case consultations, and professional development opportunities to deepen your clinical expertise and stay current with emerging trends in marriage and family therapy and telehealth care delivery. You will work with a diverse client population from various cultural, socioeconomic, and family backgrounds, and your cultural humility and sensitivity will be essential to your success.

We are looking for therapists who are self-directed, organized, and comfortable working in a fully remote environment while still engaging actively with a supportive, multidisciplinary clinical team. The ideal candidate has strong clinical judgment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for improving access to high-quality mental health care. In return, Rula Health offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven, tech-enabled healthcare organization.

This is a full-time, remote position with a stable schedule that can include some evening or weekend hours to meet client needs. Rula Health provides medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan, along with access to ongoing training and development resources to support your professional growth as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
