    Job Summary:

    An exceptional opportunity awaits a Gynecology trained physician near LOCUST VALLEY, NY. We are actively seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, providing high-quality Gynecology services, encompassing diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Clinical Experience: Gynecology clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
    • Diagnostic Skills: Ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of gynecological conditions, aiming for improved patient outcomes.
    • Competency: Demonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
    • Patient-Centered Approach: Exhibit a patient-centered approach, fostering a positive patient experience.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Interest in Population Health Management: Display an interest in Population Health Management to contribute to holistic patient care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Patient Information: Collect and record patient information, maintaining accurate medical records.
    • Clinical Evaluation: Review patient history, perform physical examinations, and evaluate, diagnose, and treat the most common diseases of the female anatomy.
    • Management Recommendations: Recommend suitable management, including preventive health recommendations and habits.
    • Prescription and Treatment Plans: Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.
    • In-Office Procedures: Perform in-office surgical procedures as needed to preserve patient health, such as cervical, endometrial, vaginal, vulvar, colposcopy, IUD placement, LEEP, and hysteroscopy.
    • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care.
    • Educational Participation: Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree: MD/DO or foreign equivalent.
    • Residency: Completion of postgraduate medical training from an accredited OB/GYN residency program.
    • Board Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gynecology.
    • Experience: Open to both experienced and newly trained providers.
    • License: Current, unrestricted New York State license.
    • Registration: Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility for registration.
    • Enrollment: Active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or eligibility to enroll.
    • Certification: BLS or ACLS certification required.
    • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Technology Comfort: Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.
