Position Details:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient with scheduled call
- Shift Schedule: 7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
- On-Call Requirements: Evening call from 4:00 p.m. 7:30 a.m.; weekend call coverage 1-2 weekends per month
- Patient Demographic: Adults, ages 18 and up
- Average Daily Admissions: Variable, inpatient only
Qualifications Required:
- Certification: Board Certified in Cardiology (Non-Invasive)
- Licensure: Ohio state license (or willingness to obtain)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Procedures and Responsibilities:
- Perform non-invasive cardiology procedures, including:
- Treadmill and Chemical Stress Tests
- Electrical Cardioversions
- Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
- Standard Echocardiography and EKGs
- MRI/CT Reads (if applicable)
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation
- Collaborate with a team of cardiologists to provide high-quality care for inpatient cases
Practice Highlights:
- Supportive environment with seven cardiologists on staff
- Comprehensive inpatient cardiology care
- Level 1 Trauma Center designation for emergencies and critical cases
- Well-equipped facilities, including ICU beds for critical cardiology patients

- Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 30-90 days
- Travel and Lodging Reimbursement: Lodging with travel at standard/economy rates
