    Description

    Position Summary:

    Professional licensed Law Enforcement Officer to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions.

    Essential Functions:
    1. Secure premises, staff, and members by patrolling property; inspecting buildings, and access points.
    2. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
    3. Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
    4. Apprehend criminals and evict violators.
    5. Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter.
    6. Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
    7. Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all staff, members and the premises
    8. Provide excellent customer service.
    9. Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and members.
    10. Reports suspicious and inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
    11. Follows mandated abuse and incident reporting requirements.
    12. Meets timelines and deadlines related to supporting systems and employee compliance. Example includes but are not limited to Kronos Workforce Ready for review and approval of time sheets.

    Qualifications:
    1. Minimum age 21.
    2. Licensed Texas Peace Officers (TCLEOSE) in good standing.
    3. Actively employed as full-time law enforcement officer.
    4. Police authority and jurisdiction within the city of Houston.
    5. Authorized by commissioning agency to engage in outside employment while armed and wearing the agency's uniform.
    6. Satisfy educational requirements necessary for Texas Peace Officer license.
    7. At least three years experience as a uniformed, full-time Police Officer.
    8. CPR and First Aid certified.
