Training Specialist Advisor - SSDS Tactical Action Officer/ Air Defense Warfare Coordinator Trainer, San Diego, CA. Develops, organizes and conducts Combat Systems and Operations training programs for personnel at SCSTC Det SW. Capable of conducting conventional knowledge-based classroom instruction and performance/scenario-based shipboard laboratory training. As a Training Specialist Advisor, the candidate would serve as a Senior Instructor to train officers and sailors in tactical employment of the SSDS combat system and associated weapons and sensor systems. Have a strong background in SSDS capabilities and limitations, benefits and risks to automating self-defense systems, threat-centric mission planning, tactical communication as well as execution of pre-planned responses. When required, the candidate would provide subject matter expertise in support of curriculum development for SCSTC courses supporting the operational employment of SSDS.
