Our client is a leading energy and infrastructure solutions provider with a strong track record of delivering federal projects. They are currently engaged in a multi-year government contract and are seeking a QC Specialist to ensure compliance, safety, and quality across all phases of construction.
Job Description
As the QC Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining construction quality and compliance with federal standards. You'll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and government representatives to ensure all work meets contract specifications.Key Responsibilities:- Implement and manage the Quality Control Plan in accordance with USACE and NAVFAC guidelines.
- Conduct daily inspections and maintain accurate quality documentation.
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely submittals and approvals.
- Use QCS and eCMS software to manage quality reporting and compliance tracking.
- Lead preparatory meetings and follow-up inspections with stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve quality issues proactively to avoid delays.
- Support safety compliance in collaboration with SSHO when needed.
- Assist in project closeout and final quality documentation.

The Successful Applicant
A successful QC Specialist should have:- A strong understanding of quality control processes in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying construction blueprints, specifications, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address quality challenges effectively.
- The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed records and documentation.
- A commitment to staying current with industry standards and best practices.
- Salary: $100,000 - $115,000
- Benefits: Healthcare, 401k match, and up to 20% bonus
- Location: Washington DC (commutable within 1 hour)
- Duration: 4-year federal project with long-term career potential
