Summary
Allied Universal - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.; Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.; Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.; Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or permissions, and support controlled access procedures in accordance with post orders and location requirements.; Assist with handling security-related concerns involving inmates, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by maintaining a visible presence, following reporting protocols, and supporting response efforts when directed.
