Summary
The Security Officer I provides uncompromised safety, and superior quality, through unarmed security services to ensure the safety and security of Associates, patients, and visitors of the Health First Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) facilities. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITES Deters criminal activity and misconduct; investigates suspicious situations; performs security patrols of designated areas on foot. Communicates via two (2) way radios, telephones, and computers. Watches for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards. Sounds alarms and calls first responders (e.g., Police Department, Fire Department) in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Warns violators of rule infractions such as loitering, smoking or carrying prohibited articles. Permits authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits.
