JRAD is seeking candidates for an immediate fill position supporting HQ, United States Air Force (USAF / HAF) Readiness Branch (A4CX). This position is hybrid with preference to candidates in the National Capitol Region (VA/DC/MD).
The Senior Fire and Emergency Services (FES) Readiness Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides expert operational and policy support to Headquarters Air Force (HAF) and the Department of the Air Force (DAF) in advancing the Chief of Staff of the Air Force (CSAF) readiness priorities. Leveraging deep experience as a Fire Chief or senior FES leader, this role analyzes and shapes Force Presentation, Mission Essential Tasks, Ability to Survive and Operate requirements, and expeditionary engineering readiness. The position is hybrid, with remote work and occasional travel to the Pentagon to support the Directorate of Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection (AF/A4C) and enterprise-level Civil Engineer (CE) readiness initiatives.
