    Position Summary

    The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, employees, and visitors at the assigned shopping center in Pheonix, AZ. This position plays a critical role in deterring theft, vandalism, and unsafe behavior while delivering exceptional customer service and upholding Prosegur and client standards.

    Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal or inappropriate actions while ensuring the safety and security of property and personnel.
    • Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to monitor activity, identify safety hazards, and prevent incidents.
    • Observe, report, and document any suspicious behavior, incidents, or safety concerns in accordance with company procedures.
    • Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, alarms, and calls for assistance.
    • Enforce company and client policies, including access control, visitor management, and parking regulations.
    • Provide courteous assistance and directions to tenants, guests, and visitors as needed.
    • Complete detailed and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
    • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times in compliance with company uniform and grooming standards.
    • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure a coordinated response to site activity.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Account Manager.
    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Must possess a current State of Arizona security guard license.
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Prior security or customer service experience preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal, observation, and communication skills.
    • Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
    • Must successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle records check.
    • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
    • Ability to remain professional and calm in routine and emergency situations.
