Requirements
Responsibilities of a Dispatcher- Coordinate with routing specialists and schedulers to optimize daily transit routes.
- Dispatch drivers based on client reservations received via phone and online platforms.
- Review and confirm upcoming reservations, ensuring accuracy and client satisfaction.
- Communicate with clients to verify details and availability for scheduled trips.
- Handle same-day service requests, assess route feasibility, and ensure driver availability.
- Make outbound calls to city transit partners and access services as needed.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential pickup issues before they impact service.
- Manage missed pickups by rerouting drivers and maintaining service continuity.
- Assist in determining daily driver staffing levels to balance responsiveness and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by operations staff.
