    Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a highly experienced

    Functional (Legacy) Subject Matter Expert (SME)

    to support a federal client in modernizing and sustaining legacy defense-related ERP systems.

    In this role, you will provide deep functional expertise across ERP strategy, test planning, and Agile program execution. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of working software solutions while supporting mission-critical financial and supply chain systems.

    What You'll Do

    Define and support the “Definition of Ready” for backlog items to enable effective Agile sprint planning and backlog grooming

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver working software solutions in each iteration, including configuration and development support

    Adapt functional designs to develop comprehensive test plans, including test conditions and test scripts

    Execute functional testing and support validation activities through release completion

    Support production deployments and troubleshoot issues identified by stakeholders

    Provide expertise in ERP strategy and planning within defense-related environments

    Ensure adherence to established processes, procedures, and program standards

    Collaborate with stakeholders, including federal defense working capital fund organizations and trading partners

    Full-time (40 hours/week)

    Requirements

    Minimum of

    10+ years experience

    working with Department of Defense (DoD)

    Working Capital Fund systems and ERP environments

    Minimum of

    10+ years experience

    with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and functional business processes

    Minimum of

    10+ years experience

    with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred

    Minimum of

    10+ years experience

    with test execution within complex system environments

    Minimum of

    10+ years experience

    in functional design for enterprise applications

    Minimum of

    10+ years experience

    in test planning and validation strategies

    Experience working with legacy defense-related supply systems, including D035J/FIABS, SMAS, and GAFS-BQ/BL

    Experience with Agile Project Management

    Demonstrated Advanced experience with:

    ERP strategy, planning, and functional system design

    Agile project management and iterative software delivery

    Functional testing, test planning, and validation processes

    Supporting legacy system modernization within defense environments
