    Job Introduction:

    Knighthawk Security Services has an immediate job opportunity for a Security Officer - Relief-E/SD Officer. The officer may be responsible for conducting mobile patrol of the sites roadways and parking lots and protecting the client site from trespassers or illegal entry and guarding against damage or theft of client property. Our Security Officers investigate calls for service and in the event of an emergency, maintain order and the safety of staff and visitors. The officer may serve as liaison with police or other law enforcement agencies on mutual problems, respond to fire alarms, assist in the evacuation of occupants and containment of fires until the fire service arrives. The Security Officer also may provide emergency services and rescue, CPR and first aid during sudden illnesses or injury. They are responsible for responding to intrusion and equipment alarms, making the required notifications, conducting the initial investigation of accidents, or crimes against client/company property or personnel, and submission of written or computer-generated reports describing the findings of the investigation.

    Role Responsibility:

    • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
    • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
    • Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
    • Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles
    • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
    • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
    • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
    • Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
    Use your Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military/Security experience and education in an environment where your contribution is valued and rewarded.

    Applicants may not have a felony conviction, or heinous misdemeanor conviction involving acts of violence or theft.

    Physical Requirements and Environment:

    Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat

    Major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing

    Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.

    Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
    • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
    • Must possess a current and valid driver's license
    Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
    • If previously employed, meaningful and verifiable work history
    Skills Required
    • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
    • Active listening skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Experienced in basic computer skills
    • Able to work rotating shifts and available for overtime and weekend shifts
    • Security, military, and/or law enforcement background preferred
    • Able to work under stressful or emergency situations, to analyze various circumstances and make recommendations and decisions

    • Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the State
    • Must have access to reliable transportation
    • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
    • Must be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verification's, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
    • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
    • Adherence to uniform dress code required
