    Position Overview

    JMark Services, Inc. is seeking a Counter-Weapons of Mass Destruction (C-WMD) Staff Officer I to support the Counter Proliferation and Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate within the Sensitive Activities & Special Programs (SASP) Office under the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)).

    This role provides critical support to national-level efforts focused on countering the proliferation of chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons and their delivery systems. The selected candidate will contribute to high-impact briefings, policy recommendations, and interagency coordination efforts in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
    Key Responsibilities
    Briefing & Reporting
    • Prepare detailed briefings, staff packages, and reports for OUSW(I&S) leadership on counterproliferation efforts related to WMD and delivery systems
    • Support the development of executive-level materials for senior decision-makers
    • Evaluate commercial technologies and prepare compatibility studies to reduce redundant R&D and improve operational efficiency
    Policy & Framework Development
    • Assist in developing processes and frameworks across DoD, the Intelligence Community, and interagency partners
    • Provide recommendations on appropriate legal authorities (e.g., Title 10, Title 50) and their application to mission requirements
    • Support policy alignment and integration across multiple stakeholders
    Representation & Coordination
    • Represent C-WMD in working groups, interagency meetings, and conferences
    • Capture key discussions, prepare meeting minutes, and develop after-action reports
    • Coordinate staff packages and support technical mission integration across DoD and IC partners
    Strategic Planning & Decision Support
    • Develop time-sensitive staffing packages for senior leadership approval, including the Secretary of War and National Security Council
    • Analyze inputs from meetings, studies, and reporting to provide actionable recommendations
    • Support strategic planning efforts related to counterproliferation initiatives
    Required Qualifications
    • U.S. Citizenship required
    • Active TS/SCI clearance required
    • Associate degree from an accredited institution
    • Minimum 1 year of experience producing reports and briefings within DoD or the Intelligence Community
    • Minimum 1 year of experience supporting counterproliferation efforts related to WMD and delivery systems
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technologies and frameworks
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proven ability to collaborate across organizations and manage competing priorities in a high-tempo environment
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience supporting OSD, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, or interagency environments
    • Familiarity with counterproliferation policy, authorities, and operational frameworks
    • Experience preparing executive-level briefings and decision support materials
    • Exposure to technical or scientific aspects of WMD or delivery systems
