Summary
The Department Director provides strategic leadership for the daily operations of the Driver Education, Driver Safety, Commercial Drivers License, Driver Ability, and Ride Safe Indiana Motorcycle Safety programs. In this role, you will establish program priorities and objectives, identify opportunities for improvement, and manage operational risks. Key outcome for this role are:Oversee division operations in a manner that enhances BMV's ability to deliver best-in-class driver and vehicle services with accuracy, timeliness, security, and transparency. Participate in developing BMV's strategic and long-range plans, goals, and objectives, and guide staff to ensure the mission and program goals are achieved. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes for customers while maintaining necessary security standardsdelivering high-quality government service and strong value to taxpayers.
