Job Title: Unarmed Security Patrol Officer (Charlotte)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Pay Rate: $17.00

GDI Security Services is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Security Officers at a client facility in Charlotte, NC. As a Security Officer, you will maintain a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's facility(s), employees, and visitors.

Schedule Availability:

• 1st Shift Officer
  Mon-Fri (6am-2pm)
• 2nd Shift Officer
  Mon-Fri (2pm-10pm)
• Saturday Officer
  (8am-1pm)
• Sat-Sun Officer
  (10pm-6am)

• Enforce company policies and procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Shift Duty/Activity Log
  • Incident Reporting/Investigation
  • Security Operation Post Orders
  • Issue Reporting & Tracking System
  • Severe Weather
  • Post Incident Critique/Investigation
  • Fire Watch Requirements
  • Standardized Training Curriculum Policy
• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, contractors, and all vehicles coming onto the site.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the premises are secure.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and report any suspicious activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees and visitors.
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive company background check and drug test.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Previous security experience is a plus but not required.

• Competitive pay rate of $17.00 per hour.
