    The State of Wisconsin is looking for a Surveillance and Access Control Technician III.

    Candidate MUST be a WI resident.

    IT Professional that works on a team responsible for facilities-based systems, including but not limited to, surveillance, door control, building automation, and telecommunication. This work includes all aspects of design, planning, installation, and support of the afore mentioned systems, including supporting desktop PCs, servers, network devices, storage solutions, and surveillance-specific equipment. Install, configure, maintain, and monitor multiple state-wide networks, filtering with Palo Altos and Zscaler, as well as mitigating issues as they arise. Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates. Work is performed at the agency's nearly 200 locations, state-wide, including the agency's many secure sites, often independently. Delegation and improvisational skills, creativity, adaptability, and strong troubleshooting skills required. Day travel also required, and long days are common.

    Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting. Provides tactical and strategic input on overall systems planning and related projects. Surveillance, network, and server support capabilities with 10 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Independently, performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

    On-site or Remote?
