We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Government Services team to support our client fully onsite in Springfield VA or St. Louis MO. Why should you join the Government Services team? The Cloud Engineer specializes in the management and operations of a large enterprise environment in support of one of our contracts in the Springfield Va and greater St Louis area. The Cloud Engineer will perform the following activities: Analyze existing system architecture and recommend secure design changes to the cloud environment based on project objectives.
    Develop scripts and workflows as needed for automated deployment.
    Generate design documents, best practice configurations, and test procedures.
    Execute testing to validate system performance IAW the developed test plan and criteria.
    Recommend improvements to the existing architecture and process to reduce repetitive or time-intensive tasks in favor of automated solutions.
    Provide subject matter expertise on cloud toolsets and best practices.
    At least three (3) years of experience in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft O365
    Demonstrated experience with some or all of the following Networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, SQL, Jenkins, PowerShell, Bicep, Azure ADO experience
    Knowledge of and experience working with DevSecOps tool chains.
    Experience preparing technical documentation.
    Configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems.
    Proactively identify and resolve operational, tooling and process inefficiencies.
    Thorough understanding with core Microsoft Products
    Knowledge of VMware virtual environments
    Basic networking knowledge Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline or relevant experience
    9+ years relevant IT experience
    Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security
    Experience ( 3 plus years) with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft O365 Experience with other Cloud Platforms ( AWS, Google, OCI) PowerShell scripting, Bicep, Azure ADO
    CI/CD orchestration tools: Jenkins
    Container technology: Kubernetes
    Required Certifications Azure Cloud Certification
    IAT level II Compliant certification (i.e. Security+ CE, SSCP etc). Clearance Requirements Must have ability to obtain TS/SCI level access
