This internship is designed to provide hands-on training in key areas of land surveying and geospatial services, including:
Land Surveying: Learn techniques for boundary surveys and topographic data collection
Aerial Mapping: Work with cutting-edge digital aerial mapping tools
Construction Inspection: Gain insight into the critical role surveying plays in construction projects
LiDAR Laser Scanning: Master advanced technologies for precision mapping
Utility Designating: Learn how to identify and map utility systems

What You Bring to SAM
Must be a transitioning service member from one of the branches of military
Strong interest in land surveying, geospatial solutions, or related fields
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices
Targeted MOCs - 12T, 12Y, 15W, 0261, 1361, 7314, EA, 3E5X1, 1N1X1 (we will consider all MOCs but these have highly transferable skills)
