  • Summary

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Weapons-based Instructors shall support the delivery of CENSECFOR AT/NSF Course of Instruction in accordance with the contract PWS, including the instructional, operational, and administrative tasks required to deliver formalized training.
    • Instructor personnel are expected to be ready to teach the assigned content. They can pass any tests associated with that content consistent with the contractor's internal quality assurance plan standards.
    • All instructors shall be familiar with all presentation, delivery methods, testing and remediation procedures, curriculum, training aids, devices, electronic podiums, and equipment operation and maintenance procedures associated with the course or section of the course they will instruct.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

    All instructor personnel shall possess the instructional qualifications contained within this Section. All instructors shall have one of the following:
    • Have attended the Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC) (A-012-0077) (or military service equivalent)
    • Academic credentialing (teacher/professor)
    • Instructor training via an academic institution. Academic ITC requirements should contain, at a minimum, the following Learning Objectives:
      1. Effective communication and questioning techniques
      2. Adult learning theory and principles
      3. Instructional Delivery methods
      4. Lesson delivery performance laboratory
      5. Training environment management
      6. Inter-personal skills
      7. Evaluation and Feedback
    Preferred requirements:
    • Possess a minimum of five (5) years of documented armed tactical military operational experience involving:
      1. Basic Tactical Communications
      2. Small Arms (Rifle and Pistol) Employment
      3. Tactical Shooting
      4. Mission Planning
      5. Tactical Movement
      6. Defensive Tactics
      7. Non-lethal weapons employment
      8. Tactical Hostile Intent Decision Making (Shoot/Don't Shoot)
    Minimum Education and Experience:
    • GED/HS Diploma
