Position: Security Guard

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $20/hour

Experience: Previous security, customer service, or related experience preferred.

Education: High school diploma or General Educational Development equivalent required.

Type: Full-time; Temp to Perm

Schedule: Various shifts; must be flexible for swing, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Job Description:

1. Monitor assigned properties and maintain a visible security presence to ensure safety.
2. Observe and report suspicious activities, incidents, or safety concerns.
3. Document incidents and maintain accurate security reports.
4. Contact emergency services when necessary and follow proper reporting procedures.
5. Communicate professionally with residents, staff, visitors, and first responders.
6. Monitor premises and assist with maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
7. Perform routine patrols and remain alert for safety risks or disturbances.

Position Requirements:

1. Must possess a valid ACT-208 State Guard Card or be eligible and willing to obtain one.
2. Must have dependable transportation to travel to assigned sites when necessary.
3. Must maintain reliable phone or communication access for scheduling and contact.
4. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
