The Senior Intelligence Analyst is a highly experienced and skilled professional who leads the research and analysis of public safety and crime data. This role is critical in providing expert insights and recommendations for mapping, trending, identifying crime patterns, and predicting and solving crimes. The Senior Intelligence Analyst performs statistical analyses, develops intelligence products, and supports strategic planning and complex investigations. This position also provides leadership on investigative strategies, assisting both investigators and Crime Analysts, and performs related duties as required. This position is located within the University of Chicago Police Department and is assigned to the Strategic Operations Center (SOC), a 24/7 operation housing the dispatch and video patrol functions.

Minimum qualifications include a college or university degree in a related field and 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline. Preferred qualifications include a degree in national security, international affairs, or a related field, at least five years of experience as an intelligence analyst, and direct experience working with analytic tools such as Tableau, Analyst's Notebook, Palantir, or similar programs.
