    Insight Global is hiring a Lead Security Project Specialist to work on-site in San Diego, CA. This person will contribute to multiple projects at a time, being able to oversee and execute security systems installation projects for a variety of customer sites. In this role, you will work with an installation team and be responsible for driving installation deliverables on each site; from interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams, to head-end installation tasks including programming, testing, and troubleshooting security systems. You will be responsible for completing individual tasks and may occasionally be responsible for overseeing the work of other installers, which would include delegating tasks and provide hands-on technical guidance to ensure projects are completed properly. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project managers and customers, verifying work quality, maintaining accurate documentation, and enforcing safety compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong electrical or low-voltage expertise, mechanical aptitude, and proven leadership experience in overseeing security system installation tasks and mentoring junior technicians. This position will regularly travel to client sites throughout San Diego County, and when not on a client site, work in the office in Kearny Mesa.

    Required Skills & Experience
    • About 5 years of applicable security system installation experience.
    • Strong communication/leadership skills- includes customer facing communications and leading a small team with tasking and deliverable completion. Proven experience leading projects from start to finish is highly desirable.
    • Strong technical experience with low-voltage electronic security systems and/or fire alarm systems. This includes:
    o Head-end installations
    o Access control
    o Programming/configuring video surveillance devices
    o Ability to understand electrical and mechanical blueprints/drawings
    • Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
    • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
    • Ability to work on-site in San Diego County, regularly driving to local client locations.

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience
    • Programming experience (Lennell, Genetec, Software House, etc.)
