    Offered Schedules:

    Monday- Friday

    • 7am-330pm
    • 3pm-1130pm
    • 11pm-730am

    Weekend shift available

    • 6am-6pm (will be full time)

    Summary:

    As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include coordinating safety training, writing incident reports, and performing various accident and loss prevention duties.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accident and Incident Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations to determine causation factors and document findings in detailed reports.
    • Compliance Audits: Perform audits in areas such as portable fire extinguishers, emergency eyewash stations, shower stations, fire pumps, sprinkler systems, power industrial vehicle (PIV) operations, emergency exit routes, and emergency exit lights.
    • Safety Compliance: Ensure organizational safety by conducting training classes, inspecting facilities and equipment, evaluating working conditions, providing improvement suggestions, and submitting work orders.
    • Security Procedures: Monitor facility access through key control for entry and exit doors and office doors. Implement and audit motor vehicle operating and parking policies. Maintain and confirm approved property removal forms to ensure control over products, parts, and materials.
    • Medical Assistance: Collaborate with Medical Technicians to provide necessary medical treatment for work-related illnesses and injuries. Administer first aid to employees, transport injured employees to medical facilities if needed, and conduct drug tests following standard operating procedures (SOP) with appropriate HR approval.
    • Escort Services: Escort personnel to and from the property as needed.
    • Emergency Procedures: Execute command post procedures during natural or man-made disasters. Monitor severe weather and follow the emergency action plan.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong investigative and report-writing skills.
    • Knowledge of safety compliance and auditing procedures.
    • Ability to conduct training and inspections effectively.
    • Familiarity with security protocols and emergency procedures.
    • First aid certification and experience in medical assistance.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    Work Environment:

    This position is located in an active industrial distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots. The fast-paced environment involves time-sensitive and safety sensitive operations and may include various shift schedules to support production and distribution needs.

    Pay: $18-$21.00 including shift differentials
