    Job Description:

    L3 Harris is seeking an experienced Quality Technician B to join our Chula Vista, CA team.

    Essential Functions:

    • Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to procedures, materials, and technical instructions.

    • Perform regular inspections of work areas and other quality assessments.

    • Attend production meetings for updates on job progress and work with shop leads to address issues.

    • Review and finalize records at the conclusion of each work package for storage.

    • Maintain equipment and ensure calibration for testing.

    • Collaborate with other Quality Assurance Technician as needed.

    • Support quality control initiatives

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

    • 3 to 4 years of quality or technical experience in a manufacturing environment.

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.

    • Proficient in blueprint reading and QA systems.

    • Proficient in reading electrical schematics and a thorough understanding of electrical/electronic test results.

    • Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

    • Must be a US Citizen.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    • Root cause analysis and corrective action development

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $47,500- $88,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
