Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Protection Services, the Museum Security Officer serves as a member of the team that is responsible for maintaining life safety, protecting the collection, and providing exemplary "security as a service" to all visitors andstaff at the museum. The Museum Security Officer communicates and enforces the policies and practices established for the protection and safety of museum staff, guests, physical structure, surrounding property and museum assets.

High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework is preferred. Experience in the security field is preferred.
