Job Summary: Elite Flex Security Officer
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
DSI is growing, again! We are seeking a highly adaptable, reliable, and professional Flex Security Officer to join our Houston team.
What is a Flex Officer? The Flex Officer is a premium role designed for our most dependable team members. Unlike a traditional assigned post, you are the "First Responder" for our operations. You will support various client sites across the Houston area, filling in for emergency call-offs, vacations, and specialized short-term assignments.
Important Note on Scheduling:
This role offers a higher pay rate in exchange for total availability. While we strive to provide advance notice, this position requires you to be "on-call" to handle last-minute needs. If you thrive on variety and are looking for a role where no two days are the same, this is for you.
Job Responsibilities- Rapid Response: Be available to accept shifts on short notice to ensure client sites remain secure.
- Adaptability: Quickly learn and execute "Post Orders" for diverse environments (Corporate, Industrial, Retail, etc.).
- Safety & Oversight: Maintain a safe environment by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
- Professionalism: Serve as a high-level representative of DSI, interacting professionally with clients and the public at various locations.
- Reporting: Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports with high accuracy.
- True Open Availability: Must be willing and able to work any shift (Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays) on short notice.
- The "Flex" Mindset: Ability to walk into a new environment and perform professionally with minimal "ramp-up" time.
- Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Reliability: You must have 100% reliable transportation and a working smartphone for immediate communication.
- Requirements: At least 21 years old, High School Diploma/GED, Valid Driver's License, and a Texas Security License.
- Physical: Ability to perform foot patrols and moderate lifting as required by various post assignments.
- Premium Pay: $18.00 per hour (Reflecting the specialized nature of the role).
