We are seeking professional Special Event Security Officers to help ensure the safety and enjoyment of attendees, staff, and property at these prestigious events.
Position Overview:
As a Special Event Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and controlled environment at major events. Your responsibilities will include access control, crowd management, incident response, and ensuring compliance with venue safety protocols. This on-call position requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Access Control:- Verify tickets, credentials, and identification at entry points.
- Ensure only authorized individuals access restricted areas.
- Monitor guest behavior and proactively address potential disturbances.
- Assist with maintaining safe crowd flow and providing directions.
- Conduct patrols of entrances, exits, VIP areas, and general seating.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter disruptive behavior and ensure venue safety.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, including disturbances, unauthorized access, and medical emergencies.
- Work alongside venue staff and law enforcement as needed.
- Enforce venue rules and security policies.
- Prevent prohibited items from entering the venue.
- Assist with crowd evacuations and emergency response procedures as required.
- Prior experience in event security, customer service, or similar roles is preferred.
- Valid BSIS California Guard Card required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm and professional in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
- Must be available for evening, weekend, and on-call shifts based on event schedules.
