JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a BC/BE Adult Psychiatrist to join our freestanding behavioral and mental health center. Candidates with a fellowship or heightened interest in Geriatric, Addiction (suboxone certification welcome), TMS therapy or Women's Mental Health will be welcome additions to the team. About position: Inpatient only7on/7off scheduleOpportunities to supervise residents through our Psychiatry GME programAPP supervision optionalThe team services almost all Adult and Geriatric needsAll facilities conveniently located on one campus HOSPITAL:What began as a 154-bed hospital has now more than doubled in size, employing more than 2,700 employees and 300 physicians. In addition to a full range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency room services, we offer the only open-heart surgery program in the area. Since the first patient was admitted in 1950, we have fervently served the community and region, providing outstanding, compassionate care from one generation to the next. Recognized as the area's finest health care provider, we continue to reach for the highest standards in quality and safety to offer its patients the best possible care. COMMUNITY: Located in western Georgia, the city overlooks the Chattahoochee River blending a vibrant artsy energy with a unique local history.
