Opening For Experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon in IllinoisLocation: Quincy, IL Full-Time, Permanent PositionPosition Overview: Seeking a second Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a growing surgical program in Quincy, IL. This opportunity includes a newly equipped hybrid operating room and collaboration with an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon. The position is ideal for a physician seeking to advance a dynamic program within a well-supported hospital setting.Practice/Position Highlights: Join a well-established program with one experienced cardiothoracic surgeon Access to a modern hybrid OR Opportunity to expand surgical services and build a robust program Strong support infrastructure and hospital resources Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 5 years post-training experience preferred Thoracic experience, including EBUS and VATS, strongly preferred Interest or experience in vascular procedures Endovascular expertise, including EVAR, TEVAR, and peripheral vascular procedures desirable Experience with TAVR/TAVI procedures preferred Eligible for Illinois medical licensure Compensation & Benefits: Base salary: - $900,000/year for newly trained physicians - $950,000/year for experienced candidates Productivity-based incentives Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance Educational debt forgiveness (if applicable) Comprehensive health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Malpractice coverage with tail 403(b) pension plan plus 457(b) tax-deferred option Six weeks of paid time off annually plus one week for CME $5,000 annual professional expense allowance On-site employee child care center About the Area: Quincy, IL offers a balanced lifestyle with a low cost of living, excellent schools, and strong community values.
