Orthopedics Opportunity in State College, PAA thriving orthopedic practice in central Pennsylvania is seeking a General Orthopedic Surgeon, Foot & Ankle Surgeon, or Hand Surgeon to join a growing team of seven physicians. This is a hospital-employed position with a brand-new outpatient facility and access to a full-service hospital.Position Highlights:Join a collegial team of 7 orthopedic surgeons and 4 experienced PA-CsBrand new outpatient clinic with 31 exam rooms and 3 dedicated x-ray suitesShared 1:6 call rotation with another orthopedic groupClinic and OR rotation with dedicated block timeEMR: Meditech ExpanseStrong support from experienced staff in a state-of-the-art facilityCompensation & Benefits:$100,000 sign-on bonusCompetitive base salary plus wRVU production incentives5 CME days29 PTO daysPaid malpractice coverageHealth, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan with employer contributionsCandidate Requirements:MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolBoard certified or board eligible in Orthopedic SurgeryEligible for Pennsylvania medical licensureFellowship training in Foot & Ankle or Hand Surgery welcome but not requiredLocation Highlights:State College is home to Penn State University and offers a vibrant college town lifestyleExcellent public and private schoolsAccess to NCAA sports, arts, dining, and entertainmentOutdoor recreation including hiking and biking trailsRegional airport and easy access to Interstates 80 and 99 -
