Pediatric Hospitalist opening in Reno, NVFull-time, PermanentWe are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join a collaborative inpatient pediatric care team. Practice in a Level II Trauma Center with strong subspecialty support, a teaching environment, and access to an exceptional outdoor lifestyle. Inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage in a 30-bed pediatric unit Average daily census: 16-18 patients Newborn nursery coverage and examinations Pediatric Emergency Department consultations Collaboration with multidisciplinary pediatric teams and subspecialists Close partnership with a 16-bed PICU staffed by pediatric intensivists Academic involvement through medical student and resident teaching Affiliation with a university medical school High-quality care in a Level II Trauma Center serving a multi-state regionKey Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric care Manage pediatric admissions, rounding, and inpatient treatment plans Perform newborn assessments in the nursery Respond to pediatric consults in the Emergency Department Collaborate with intensivists, specialists, and care teams Participate in education of residents and medical students Ensure adherence to evidence-based, patient-centered care standardsQualifications (Required) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics Active Nevada medical license or eligibility to obtain Current NPDB Self-Query report DEA registration (required prior to start) CSR/CDS registration (required prior to start) Must be willing to relocate or already reside locallyCompensation & Benefits Base Salary: $190,000 - $230,000 annually (based on experience and training) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability coverage Health savings and flexible spending accounts (HSA/FSA) 401(k) retirement plan Voluntary benefit options via payroll deduction Supportive work environment focused on physician well-being and balance
