Collaborate with an on-call oral surgeon and plastic surgeon to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Stabilize patients as needed and coordinate with the oral surgery team for follow-up care. Support the hospitals initiative to reduce the call burden on oral surgeons by sharing OMF trauma responsibilities. Hospital-Based Practice : Respond to urgent and emergent ENT cases, providing expert care in a fast-paced environment. Utilize the hospitals EMR system (Cerner) for charting and documentation. Engage in a multidisciplinary approach, working alongside skilled support staff to deliver high-quality care. Practice Details: Patient Population : Adult and Pediatric Practice Setting : Hospital-Based (Inpatient) On Call : Yes, with a structured schedule and strong support from other surgical specialties. Support Staff : Comprehensive support including OMF residents, oral surgeons, and plastic surgeons. Requirements: Licensure : Current medical license in North Carolina. Board Certification : Must be Board Certified in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT). DEA/CSR Certification : Active DEA and North Carolina Controlled Substance Registration (CSR).
