    We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Mobile Mammography Technologist at varying levels (I, II). The selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications and experience. All levels contribute to patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Mobile Mammography Technologist I:

    • The Mammography Technologist will drive the mobile coach to and from assigned locations and will utilize equipment which produces ionizing radiation to obtain radiographs for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC Radiology Department and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic
    • When the mobile coach is not traveling, the Mammography Technologist will cover the Main Campus or other locations when needed. Imaging services vary by site, therefore, rotation through DEXA bone density studies and performance of stereotactic guided biopsies may be required depending on location
    • The Mammography Technologist will utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) to complete clerical processes and designated PACS system for stereotactic and DEXA studies
    • Must be willing to drive the mobile coach to and from assigned clinics

    Mobile Mammography Technologist II:

    • Same job duties as Mobile Mammography Technologist I

    You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
    • ARRT (R)(M)
    • MRT- General Certificate
    • BLS through American Heart Association
    • 40 hours mammography training approved by the ARRT to meet the minimum initial FDA & TMB requirements for mammographers
    • 2+ years of experience in mammography or 1+ years of KSC experience in x-ray and/or SCNB experience
    • Required to travel/drive with mobile mammography coach to any location (within the Houston area) as scheduled
    • Valid Texas Driver's License, access to reliable transportation and insurable driving record
    • Proven working knowledge of mammography quality assurance measures and accreditation requirements

    Preferred Qualifications:
    For Mobile Mammography Technologist II:

    • 3+ years of experience in mammography or 1+ years of KSC experience in mammography quality control

    Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
