    Here, you will work at a 35-bed, rural acute-care hospital where you can grow in your role and build your own patient panel.     Position Details:

    • Full-time position
    • Provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care, including inpatient and outpatient care
    • Flexible schedule with clinic 3 days/week, 1 day/week with blocked OR time, and back-up call with CNM 1-2 days/week.
    • Weekend call once per month
    • 30 to 40 deliveries per month
    • Clinic volume: 16 to 20 per 8 hour day depending on the mix of GYN and OB patients
    • Collaborative work with CNMs on L&D and clinic
    • Supporting APRNs in clinic

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Guaranteed salary and potential for incentives
    • Compensation is between $382,000 and $420,000 per year
    • Relocation assistance is available

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Board eligibility/board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required
    • NRP certified
    • Experience working in low-resource, rural settings is desired
    • 2+ years of experience preferred
    • New graduates are welcome to apply

    On Hawai‘i‘s Big Island, Queen‘s North Hawai‘i Community Hospital is a 35-bed rural acute-care facility that serves Waimea and surrounding communities. Part of The Queen‘s Health Systems, Queen‘s North Hawai‘i Community Hospital has over 300 employees and more than a dozen physicians who serve the main hospital as well as outpatient clinics at Lucy Henriques Medical Center. The Level III Trauma Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a designated Baby-Friendly birth facility.
