Job Description & Requirements OB Hospitalist StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $300000.00 - $320000.00 A leading academic health center - UTHealth Houston McGovern Medical School is seeking OB/GYN Hospitalists to join a well-established and rapidly expanding community-based hospitalist program across the Greater Houston area. This clinically focused, shift-based opportunity is designed for physicians seeking the lifestyle and predictability of true shift work while practicing within a highly supported, collaborative system backed by an academic institution. Opportunity Highlights 100% inpatient OB/GYN hospitalist role True shift-based model ( 8, 24-hour shifts/month) No routine clinic obligations No backup call required OB ED, Labor & Delivery coverage, GYN consults, and emergency care Strong subspecialty backup including MFM and Gynecologic Oncology and centralized transfer infrastructure Academic affiliation with UTHealth Houston (optional teaching involvement) Collaborative, team-based care model with interdisciplinary support Competitive compensation, relocation assistance, CME allowance, state benefits package, malpractice insurance, and more Community Information Houston, Texas Greater Houston is one of the nations largest and most diverse metropolitan areas, offering a wide range of living options and a thriving economy anchored by healthcare, energy, and technology.
