Summary
We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 35-day assignment in Louisiana, starting May 18, 2026. The schedule involves Monday through Friday shifts from 8am-8pm and weekend shifts from 9am-5pm. This role requires comfort as the sole provider, performing various in-office procedures, managing occupational medicine cases, and interpreting EKGs and X-rays. Responsibilities and Duties Serve as the sole provider in an urgent care setting. Perform EKG interpretation. Perform X-Ray interpretation. Execute splinting and fabrication of splints. Conduct laceration repair and suturing. Perform incision and drainage procedures. Perform ear wax removal. Perform foreign body removal of skin. Perform foreign body removal of eye. Manage nosebleeds. Administer IVs. Perform toenail excision or removal. Provide wound care. Handle occupational medicine cases including workplace injuries, evaluations, and drug testing.
