    OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team to give back to Americas heroes and help them receive their well-deserved Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits in Shreveport.SummaryFull time or Part-time, 2-5 days / week$850-900 / day3-5 appts / dayNo treating or prescribingResponsibilitiesConduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases. No refraction requiredDiagnose visual disorders and document findingsMaintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and medical terminology.Utilize systems for managing patient appointments and medical records efficiently.ExperienceDoctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.Valid state license to practice optometry.
