This role involves managing OBED patients, performing deliveries, and supporting emergent cases in a high-volume setting.$5000/day inclusive of all hoursAssignment Dates:May 29, 2026June 4, 2026June 19, 2026August 19, 2026September 20, 2026September 22, 2026September 23, 2026November 25, 2026November 28, 2026December 21, 2026December 22, 2026December 23, 2026December 26, 2026December 29, 2026Schedule:24-hour in-house call (call rooms available)Practice Details:Setting: Inpatient (OB Emergency Department)EMR: EpicNo gynecology responsibilitiesMaternal-Fetal Medicine support available on callResidents present (no supervisory responsibility)Dedicated OBED with 8 bedsAccess to full hospital resources including imaging, lab, and pharmacyPatient Volume:Approximately 1,300+ OBED visits annually 460 deliveries per yearResponsibilities:Manage OBED patients and triage obstetric emergenciesPerform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sectionsCare for patients without a primary OB/GYNSupport maternal transport casesRequirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN RequiredActive Iowa License or IMLC RequiredClean malpractice/background RequiredNPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) RequiredMust specify availability for listed dates at time of submission RequiredMust be non-local to the Des Moines area RequiredCredentialing:Must be able to obtain privileges prior to startAbout WhiteCoat Locums:- Physician owned and led agency- Highest-Pay rates on the market- $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail- 100% transparency -
