    A facility in the scenic and peaceful region near Leverett, Massachusetts, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in anesthesia services. This is a high-priority need with an immediate start date, offering competitive compensation and reimbursable travel and lodging. Position Overview Role : Locum CRNA - Anesthesia Start Date : December 2, 2024 Shift Options : 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per day (7:00 am 3:30 pm) 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 am 5:30 pm) Flexibility for full-time is required; unable to accommodate rotating weekly schedules. Weekends : No weekend shifts required. On-Call Requirements : No mandatory call, though optional day and weekend call is available if interested. Facility Highlights Level III Trauma Center with a collaborative CRNA-MD model Patient Demographics : Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Case Mix : Includes general surgeries (e.g., laparoscopic cholecystectomies), robotic-assisted surgeries (gastric bypass, prostate), vascular procedures (e.g., endovascular aortic aneurysm repair, A-V fistulas), orthopedic, mastectomies, and cystoscopies. Support Team : CRNAs are well-supported by anesthesia technicians, scrub techs, first assists, and post-op assistants (POAs) who maintain the operating rooms.
